GRADUATES!! This is an aamazing College with great facilities. All sports grounds are on site, the library is well equipped, light and airy. The accommodation offered to graduates is cheap but still central and next to College. Food is great and there are many social dining and drinks occasions set up especially for graduates. Some Colleges may not cater as well for the graduate community if they have undergraduates but Jesus really does care for the grads and the MCR (basically the graduate common room) is diverse and friendly and greta to be a part of!

Only been here for 5 months and I feel like I have completely settled in. Everyone is so friendly and get along with eachother really well. Formals are excellent fun, and its true that we pretty much have our own corner of Cindies where you will find no one but Jesuans on a Wednesday night! Everybody within my subject (natsci) is so supportive and we all help eachother out with any problems

Loved my time here, even though most college members weren't my kind of crowd the facilities, space and friendliness of staff more than made up for it. The college sports facilities have turned me from a sick-note dependent anti-PE schoolchild to a match-a-day keen player of several sports. Food is decent, good for the price, and rooms are pretty nice, although not necessarily the cheapest in town (but certainly not the most pricey).

I loved Jesus. The grounds and facilities are remarkable, but most importantly, the atmosphere created by both students, porters and staff is overwhelmingly friendly, comfortable and embracing. Working hard is obviously important at Cambridge, and it makes things a lot more enjoyable and easier to do if you're in such a relaxing, supportive situation. It was a delight to be there.

A friendly, sporty college. With sports facilities on site. Accomodation all around the college means that people are friends are friendly inter-year, as 2nd/3rd years don't get posted half way across town. Always has a large representation in Cindies on Wednesdaya and Life on Sundays....good boozers.

From what I can tell Jesus is one of the most popular colleges in Cambridge and has a good mix of people there. Jesus college does well both academically and socially-quite sporty and has some popular drinking societies.

Jesus is often the college that students at other Cambridge colleges say they'd have liked to have applied to themselves or recommend others to apply to. We've got a good mix of state/private students, though it doesn't really matter, the college is super friendly and is an all-rounder in terms of grades, sports, art etc. We're just 5 minutes walk from town and Sainsbury's, but on a road just outside the centre of town so don't get bogged down with tourists. Feels so much like home I hate having to leave at the end of every term. A great, trendy bar not badly priced. And we can walk/sit/sunbathe/eat on the lawns in Easter term!

After having to be literally forced to apply to Cambridge, I couldn't have found a better college to show me how distorted my pre-conceptions of Cambridge were. I didn't think a North London boy like me could find such a great circle of friends. So many different state and public school backgrounds but everyone gets along effortlessly. Sports facilities are amongst the best and most conveniently placed - on your doorstep :). Definitely apply to Jesus if you want the most mixed group of students and a very friendly atmosphere. I don't regret applying to the Bridge at all! Thank you Jesus! lol

The college is extremely friendly and has a good work-life balance. It has the optimum location only a few minutes from sainsbury's and the centre of town but off the main tourist route. The sports pitches are in the college grounds, the library is open 24 hours and i and the accomodation is excellent - there are no hideous 60's blocks and you get a room in college or in the houses right opposite for every year of your course.

The music is simply fabulous (as are the opportunities for sport) and the accommodation is easily some of the best in Cambridge. We even have a nature trail. The college is big enough so you don't get bored of the people, but not so big so you get lost. The BBQs in summer term on the lawns are rather exciting.

i dont think anywhere in cambridge is particularly 'arty' or 'alternative', except maybe kings. if that's what you want, don't go (although it is easier to come across as alternative with minimal effort, cos so few people are). jesus is a college for nice people, just nice normal people who want a nice little community and like going to commercial clubs on big communal nights out. it's a very collegy college, cos the grounds are so big and the bar's good and everything gets v insular. however, the music scene is amazing. our music society is the best - the chapel is one of the best concert venues in the town, because its just big enough, but not too touristy, good acoustics and atmosphere and layout for all kinds of music.

jesus is lovely. the grounds are big and spacious, so its not claustrophobic, the library is amazing, all accommodation is nearby, which is great. The food is pretty good, and there is a great mix of people. brilliant location off the tourist route, yet not any distance from the centre of town. amazing.

I love Jesus - the grounds are beautiful, the people are friendly and there's loads to get involved in. People are generally proud of being at the College, and you do hear others saying they wished they had applied / been accepted. Nice atmosphere and a good mix of people so no-one should be without friends. Very glad I applied here.

Beautiful, friendly college. It's one of the only colleges where all the accommodation for all the years is nearby, which means that everyone can be friendly with all the years. Better food than a lot of colleges. The most beautiful library, an amazing place to work. Jesus is a lot of fun, with a real mix of things going on, drama, music, sports, etc. Big enough that there are always new people in college to meet, not so big that you get completely lost.
