This is the place for elegance - white tie May Balls for instance...if that kind of stuff is important to you!

Dine by candle-light in robes nightly. Longest river frontage of any Cambridge college. Small. Friendly. The architecture is mostly red-brick. Understated but elegant. Excellent bar. Has risen in the Tompkins Table of late.

Really down-to-earth students, and as it's a small college, you get to know most of them. College provides great value for money on accommodation and food. "The Beach" is one of the best locations in Cambridge during May Week, and everyday Formals are always great fun

It's a very small college, which means you get to know lots of people easily, across years and including graduates. Really friendly, people get on really well. The freshers' week is really well-organised, different things on (club nights). The catering system is not great - the cheapest probably. The quality of the food in hall is not good - but the hall experience is actually good, because it's candle-lit and particularly good in winter.

Stunning place but I had a bit of an unfriendly supervisor there for a term. I didn't feel that he was really being kept in check by the rest of the staff from that department.

A mini-Peterhouse of Tory dunderheads who, born wealthy, don't have to worry about a hard day's work and can busy themselves with the onanistic activities of the boat club, drinking societies, CUCA, CICCU, etc. Consequent proliferation of drunks, Christians, heiresses and hipsters. Unless you are one of these, don't make the mistake I made and choose another college!
