Kellogg College, Oxford

Kellogg College, Oxford was founded in 1990. It teaches in the region of 390 graduate students (no undergraduates are accepted to this college). Kellogg is a post-graduate college with a particular focus on facilitating life-long learning. It caters mostly for students reading degrees in a variety of part-time arrangements, as well as traditional full time students. It is located around 1.24 km from the centre of town.

Kellogg is still finding its feet I think. It's moved to new premises in Banbury Road, which are ok if cramped. It has a lot of p/t students so there isn't that buzz in the place which f/t students can give.
You couldn't want for a friendlier tutorial staff, but I feel it's hard to deny that the college lacks a bit of atmosphere, and it's going to be up to those Kelloggians based in Oxford to take the staff's inviation up to use the facilities and give it that atmosphere it so desperately needs.

Certainly everything you want in a graduate college, especially as an international student. Lots of drive, good food and accommodation, lovely people and organisation. Not a narrow-minded feel at all.

This is a fantastic college. Quite an achievement to feel dignified and institutional despite being so new!

Great College in terms of staff, fellows and students. Many of the students are highly achieving professionals well established in their fields which makes it a privilege to study with.

That being said, Kellogg lacks in facilities (well bellow standards for an Oxford College I would say) and doesn't feel like a traditional Oxford College which was a downer in my experience.
